The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Associated Abayomi, made this known early Friday morning. In any case, Abayomi said the governor and his assistants all tested negative for the virus, expressing gratitude toward Lagos occupants for their anxiety. He stated, "I am glad to report that COVID19-19 Lagos Incident Commander, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the First Lady of Lagos and their close relatives, just as associates, have all tested negative for COVID-19. "We express gratitude toward Lagos occupants for their anxiety and backing. We ask all to keep up social distancing. Together we can vanquish COVID-19! It would be ideal if you remain safe." The PUNCH reports that the Nigeria Center for Disease Control affirmed 10 new instances of Coronavirus pandemic outbreak in the nation on Thursday. The affirmed cases are three in the Federal Capital Territory and seven from Lagos State, making Nigeria's affirmed cases 184. It said 20 had been released with two deaths. NCDC said that at present, there are 92 cases in Lagos; Abuja 38, Oyo-eight; Osun-14; Oyo – eight Ogun – four; Kaduna-four; Akwa Ibom – five, Edo - four, Bauchi-three, Enugu and Ekiti with two cases each, while Rivers and Benue had one case, respectively.
